Born on November 26, 1981, in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, Boris Brejcha has carved a unique niche in the electronic music landscape with his self-styled genre, “High-Tech Minimal.” Recognized for his distinctive Joker mask, inspired by the Carnival of Venice, Brejcha’s innovative sound and captivating performances have garnered him a global following.

Brejcha’s journey into music began in his early childhood, learning drums and keyboard. At 12, a classmate introduced him to the “Thunderdome” series, sparking his interest in electronic music. He started producing his own tracks, initially as a hobby, which laid the foundation for his future career.
In 2006, Brejcha released his debut tracks “Monster” and “Yellow Kitchen” under Autist Records, marking his entry into the minimal techno scene. His innovative approach quickly gained attention, leading to performances at major festivals like Universo Paralello in Brazil.
By 2012, Brejcha had developed his signature style, “High-Tech Minimal,” blending minimal techno with complex arrangements and melodic elements. This genre has been described as “the intelligent music of tomorrow.”
In 2015, he founded his own label, Fckng Serious, alongside fellow artists Ann Clue and Deniz Bul, providing a platform for his releases and supporting emerging talents.
Brejcha’s discography includes notable albums such as “Die Maschinen sind gestrandet” (2007), “Mein Wahres Ich” (2008), and “Space Diver” (2020), his first release under Ultra Records. His music continues to evolve, incorporating diverse influences while maintaining his distinctive sound.
