Born on February 24, 2000, in Blackpool, England, Oliver Rowley, known professionally as Azyr, is a British DJ and producer renowned for his high-energy techno sets. Emerging from the North West of England, Azyr has rapidly gained recognition for his dynamic performances and innovative productions, blending subgenres such as acid, schranz, rave, hard dance, and psytrance.

Azyr’s journey into the electronic music scene began during the COVID-19 pandemic when he experimented with DJing and production. Prior to this, he completed a four-year aeronautical engineering apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce. His self-taught skills and passion for music led him to pursue DJing full-time in early 2023.

In January 2022, Azyr released his debut track, “Dancer Of The Night”, followed by the EP ‘Punishers In Berghain’ in May 2022, showcasing his affinity for hard-hitting acid techno. His debut album, ‘It Kills The Pain’, was released in February 2022, featuring collaborations that highlight his versatility within the techno subgenres.
