Born in Bologna, Italy, Alignment (Francesco Pierfelici) has rapidly ascended within the techno scene, renowned for his unique fusion of hard techno and 90s trance elements. His music is characterized by powerful melodies, deep basslines, sharp kicks, and ethereal, echoing synths, captivating audiences worldwide.

Alignment’s musical journey began in his youth, studying classical music and clarinet. At 14, he started producing hip-hop beats for local artists in Bologna. His introduction to techno occurred during a visit to a nightclub in Riccione, Italy, which profoundly influenced his musical direction.

Relocating to Berlin, Alignment immersed himself in the city’s vibrant techno scene, refining his sound and gaining recognition. His impressive discography includes releases on esteemed labels such as Voxnox, KNTXT, Etruria Beat, Involve Records, Konstruktiv, and FLASH Recordings. Notably, his “Infinity” EP on Voxnox Records sold out within three weeks, and the “Ever Gone” EP on Suara made significant impacts on 2019 dancefloors.

In 2024, Alignment launched his own label, Orbital Records, further establishing his influence in the techno community.
