Adriatique: Swiss Duo Crafting Hypnotic Techno Journeys

Adriatique’s journey began when Shala and Schweizer met in 2008, bonding over a shared passion for electronic music. Their collaboration led to the formation of Adriatique in 2009, a name inspired by their shared first name, Adrian. From the outset, they developed a style emphasizing deep melodies and minimalist, repetitive rhythms, adhering to their belief that “music should be meditation.”

The duo’s early releases on labels like Diynamic Music, Afterlife, and Cityfox showcased their ability to blend atmospheric elements with driving beats. Tracks such as “Ray” and “Midnight Walking” exemplify their signature sound, characterized by emotive melodies and intricate production techniques

In 2016, Adriatique launched their own imprint, Siamese Records, providing a platform for their productions and those of like-minded artists. Their debut album, “Nude” (2018), released on Afterlife Recordings, received critical acclaim for its cohesive narrative and exploration of diverse sonic landscapes.
